In and around Dieppe

Buses, shuttles, trains… There are lots of ways to get around Dieppe and the surrounding area without a car!

Buses in Dieppe

The DeepMob network allows you to get around Dieppe by bus.

Lines 1, 2 & 3 link the various districts to the town centre and run all day, Monday to Saturday. Line 14 runs on Sundays and public holidays.

A ticket for 1 journey costs €1.30. It can be bought directly from the bus driver in cash.
Discovery tickets are available for unlimited travel for 24 hours (€4) or 48 hours (€6.50). These can be purchased online from the DeepMob website or at points of sale.

DeepMob buses are free for everyone, every Saturday.

Free city centre shuttle bus

A free, 100% electric mini-bus is available to take you anywhere in Dieppe town centre.

The shuttle runs all year round, Monday to Sunday, from 9.25am to 6.40pm, every 30 minutes.

Departing from the station, it serves the main points in the town centre(Tourist Office, seafront hotels, beach, Quai Henri IV, Grande Rue entrance, etc.).

Transport on demand (TAD)

In the Dieppe conurbation

A tailor-made public transport service is available in the 16 communes of Dieppe-Maritime.

The service is open to all, subject to booking. It runs all year round (except Sundays and public holidays): Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 7pm, Saturday from 8.30am to 6.30pm.

Bookings can be made by telephone, via the online platform or at the Deep-Mob sales office (at the bus station). For morning journeys (up to 2pm), you need to book the day before, before 5pm during school holidays and before 3.45pm during holiday periods. For afternoon journeys (from 2pm), it is possible to book until 11am on the same day.

Registration for the TAD service is free. To register (first journey), pleasecall 02 32 14 09 09 or go to thesales office with proof of identity. The price of a journey is €1.30, excluding free Saturdays.

The DeepMob TAD serves tourist sites such as the Manoir d’Ango in Varengeville-sur-Mer, the Château de Miromesnil and the Parc William Farcy in Offranville.

Buses in Seine-Maritime and Normandy

From Dieppe, you can also travel by bus throughout Normandy, particularly along the coast, on the Nomad network routes.

  • Route 514 takes you to Veules-les-Roses and Saint-Valéry-en-Caux.
    Line 513 takes you to Fécamp, then 509 to Étretat and Le Havre.
  • Line 519 will take you as far as Le Tréport or Ville d’Eu.
  • To Forges-les-Eaux, take line 527.

A ticket for a journey on a Nomad line costs €2.90. Tickets can be bought online from the AtouMod platform or directly from the bus driver. These buses are usually picked up at Dieppe station.

The train in Dieppe

Trains depart from Dieppe station for Rouen or Paris.

The station > ferry shuttle bus

A special bus will take you from the ferry terminal to the train or bus station.

The shuttle bus fare is €3 for adults, €1.50 for young people aged 4 to 17 and free for children under 3. Payment can only be made in cash (euros or pounds sterling) to the driver.

Timetables are adapted according to the departures and arrivals of each ferry rotation. From the SNCF station, the shuttle leaves 1 hour 15 minutes before the ferry’s departure time. From the cross-Channel station, the shuttle waits for foot passengers whenthe ferry arrives.
