Square du Canada was created in 1924 to enhance the western end of Boulevard de Verdun, at the foot of the château. It features a formal garden embellished with flower beds.
In 1927, on the initiative of the Amys du Vieux Dieppe, architect Georges Feray designed a stele commemorating the ties between Dieppe and Canada. The stele features numerous facets engraved with inscriptions, tracing the shared history of Dieppe and Canada from the 16th century to the present day.
