You can take a break in the shade around the various water features, thanks to the benches set up here and there. The rose in all its forms

From the outset, the park has been dedicated to the rose, a flower much loved for its elegance and fragrance. Numerous varieties can be found in the garden. Among them is the “Offranville” rose, created in 1993 by André Eve, a rose grower* in Pithiviers near Orléans.

A concentrate of pleasures

Renovated and transformed, the former carriage house now houses a charming tearoom. Upstairs is the Jacques-Emile Blanche museum. This famous French painter, engraver and writer made Offranville his adopted home.

Nearby, a fine restaurant, Le Colombier, can round off your day on an unforgettable gastronomic note.

A bit of history

Created in June 1993, the floral park is named after William Farcy. He was secretary general of Offranville town council for 20 years, and a key figure in the creation of this site.

The rose became the star of this little paradise thanks to Princess Sturdza. A local botanist*, she is known the world over and was behind the creation of Jardin le Vasterival in Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer. It was she who named the rose “Offranville” when the garden was created.

The remarkable 18th-centurycart shelter, la charretterie, is what remains of a former farm building.
