Major events 2026

All year round, Dieppe and the surrounding region are alive with unmissable events!

In 2026, you won’t want to miss any of the major events that make the heart of the destination beat faster: the Fête de la Mer, the Foire aux Harengs et à la Coquille Saint-Jacques, the Rallye de Dieppe, the Canadian Film Festival, the Musicales de Normandie and the Festival de Bande Dessinée.

But that’s not all! Festivals, exhibitions, markets, sporting events, family activities and cultural events will punctuate the seasons, from spring through to the festive season.

🎭 Festivals, performing arts & classical music: a season of emotions

The year opens with the Salon du Livre, an unmissable literary highlight, before continuing with the Canadian Film Festival, featuring screenings and Franco-Canadian encounters… Then it’s on to young audiences with the J.E.D.I. Festival, dedicated to the performing arts, followed by theatre in June with Les Enfants de Molière.

On the music front, 2026 will be celebrating the classical repertoire with the Musicales de Normandie, the Festival de Musique Ancienne and the Concerts Passion at the Manoir d’Ango. These are exceptional events held in some of the region’s most emblematic venues.

🌷 Strolling through the seasons

Take the time to pick up some great finds at the Braderie du Pollet,
marvel at the colours and scents of the Flower Festival,
enjoying the balmy summer evenings at the night markets,
exploring the wonders of plants at the Botaniques de Varengeville,
and, as the festive season approaches, immersing yourself in the magic of the Christmas Market at Château de Miromesnil…
Every season has its own discoveries and bargains in store!

🐚 Fête de la Mer

This year, on 6 and 7 June, Dieppe celebrates its maritime identity and pays tribute to sailors and maritime professionals. Blessings, events and festive highlights will punctuate this weekend devoted to the sea.

It’s an emblematic event that will bring you right to the heart of Dieppe’s maritime soul!

🐟 Herring Fair

Every year in November, Dieppe celebrates its ancestral link with the sea and the fishing trades over a convivial weekend of tasting and entertainment: the famous Herring and Scallop Fair.

It’s a must-see event!

🎈As a family: memories to share all year round

The Dieppe region invites young and old to share some unforgettable moments! In April, go on an egg hunt at the Château de Miromesnil, before enjoying the Carnival and Fête du Jeu in May.

In August, the Summer Fair brings the lawns to life with rides and delicacies. And in September, take to the skies on the Ferris Wheel for a breathtaking view of Dieppe!

Running, endurance, precision… sports challenges are coming to Dieppe! Walk alongside theOxfam Trailwalkers or cheer on the runners in the Dieppe Corrida. Horse-riding enthusiasts will be thrilled by Deep Jumping, while strategy buffs will find themselves at the International Chess Festival.

In July, the Sports Village will bring the beach to life with free introductory courses in a wide range of sports. And for lovers of the sea, Faites du Nautisme is the perfect opportunity to try out water sports in a friendly atmosphere!

🎨 Arts and crafts

At the Forum des Métiers d’Art, come and meet enthusiasts with golden hands: stone carvers, glass blowers, luthiers… Fascinating skills that could well inspire the talents of tomorrow.

Dieppe becomes an open-air gallery with the Ex-Spray Street Art Festival and Painters in the City, where murals and works on easels take over the urban space.

In 2026, the museums of the Dieppe region are offering a rich programme of exhibitions combining history, art and society.
