An extraordinary bakery

Aux Pains Populaires

In Dieppe

Leavening becomes a whole adventure with Matthieu, a passionate young entrepreneur at the head of an atypical organic bakery. A Dieppe native by adoption, Matthieu’s origins are Picardy, and he fell in love with this“authentic” town, where he used to visit regularly as a child.

Today, like many millennials, he is a father in search of meaning, and has undergone a complete reconversion, switching from audiovisual to bread. He trained at the École Internationale de Boulangerie in Noyers-sur-Jabron, and opted for an unusual but caring work organization. Matthieu’s watchword? Fairness. Matthieu will be delighted to talk to you about sourdough and the values that drive it…

À Petit-Caux (Tourville-la-Chapelle)

Alongside Ruby, Petite Fleur and Schtroumpfette, Cindy will be delighted to welcome you to her goat farm for discovery tours. A former executive assistant, this dynamic young woman made a complete change of direction in 2020. With her husband, a farmer, they set up the goat farm in a shed on their property in Petit-Caux. Since then, she has been milking goats one after the other, offering a wide range of goat’s milk products.

Each visit will of course be punctuated by a tasting session, and during the visits on April 10 and May 3, you can even take part in a workshop to make your own cheese!

Organic cider production

Domaine de la Gentilhommière

In Osmoy-Saint-Valéry

Thinking of future generations is very much on Félix’s mind. That’s why he launched his organic cider production in 1996. It took some time to convert the whole farm to organic production, but it’s now a reality, and the brewer feels much more at ease. He has diversified and is now exploring other crops: spelt, lentils, triticale

He trained in brewing “on the job”. He enjoys working on the complexity of cider blends. He’s equally enthusiastic about sharing with visitors, and delighted to show them both the orchard and the remarkable architecture of Normandy.
